We are seeking a energetic and dependable 5 Ton Truck Driver to join our team and drive our heavy-duty trucks with enthusiasm and precision. Responsibilities
Safely operate a 5-ton truck for local and regional freight deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulation.
Conduct pre-trip inspections of the truck to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns before each journey
Maintain accurate delivery logs, freight documentation, and vehicle maintenance records
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly




Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep the vehicle in optimal condition
Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, freight handling, and commercial driving

Requirements
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record or class 5 with airbrakes
Proven experience operating 5-ton trucks or similar heavy vehicles in a commercial setting
Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and basic automotive repair skills
Ability to perform detailed pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance
Solid communication skills and a commitment to safety standards
Physical ability to load/unload freight, including lifting heavy items when necessary
