Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Playground Assistant to support the safety, engagement, and development of children during activities. This role involves supervising children at the indoor playgrounds, facilitating fun and inclusive play, and ensuring a secure environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering positive social interactions. Prior experience in caregiving, early childhood education, or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Duties
Supervise children during playtime, ensuring safety and adherence to playground rules




Facilitate inclusive and engaging activities that promote social skills and physical development
Assist children with equipment use and encourage cooperative play among diverse groups
Monitor the playground area for potential hazards and address safety concerns promptly
Maintain cleanliness of the playground area by removing debris and ensuring equipment is in positive condition
Collaborate with staff and caregivers to create a positive, nurturing setting for all children
Document any incidents or concerns according to program policies

Experience
Prior experience working with children in educational, caregiving, or recreational settings is preferred
Open availability is preferred

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
