Overview

We are seeking energetic and experienced Labourers with a penchant for learning. A background in underground pipe installation and maintenance or any machinery experience would be an added benefit, however not a requirement as we will provide training. Hourly wages range from $22 - 26 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities
Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of underground piping systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications
Could operate heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, bucket trucks, and rigging gear to excavate trenches and position pipes accurately if experienced.
Use hand tools and power tools to prepare pipe joints, fittings, and related components for installation or repair
Help with conducting site inspections to ensure proper trench shoring, safety barriers, and low voltage electrical connections are maintained
Support welding tasks for pipe joining or repairs when necessary, following safety protocols




Collaborate with team members to coordinate the movement of materials using bucket operation and other heavy machinery
Follow all safety procedures related to underground work, electrical systems, and heavy equipment operation

Skills
Potential mechanical knowledge related to plumbing, piping systems, and general construction equipment
Possible experience operating excavators, backhoes, bucket trucks, and other heavy machinery such as rigging gear and low voltage electrical systems
Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, wrenches) and power tools (drills, saws) for pipe fitting and assembly
Potential to perform welding tasks accurately when required for pipe joining or repairs depending on experience level.
