Overview
The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and managing the sales and dispatching of aggregate materials to various construction sites. This role involves ensuring timely delivery, optimizing routes, and maintaining communication with drivers and customers.

Our team is looking for a full time (standard 40-hour work week plus overtime), Transportation Supervisor responsible for Dispatch/Order Desk at our Cold Lake location.

Responsibilities

· Possess previous experience dispatching preferably in the construction or aggregate industry.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in dispatch software and GPS systems.
An understanding of logistics, transportation regulations, and safety standards.
Have excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Be able to multitask and perform well in a team setting
Willing to work flexible hours and overtime
Have a valid driver's license and drivers abstract according to company policy




Schedules and dispatches orders daily to maximize production and equipment efficiency
Responsible for building and maintaining customer and client relationships
Maintain high degree of accuracy and detail in order entry
Abides by company policies and procedures regarding handling employment equipment
Pre-employment drug screening in effect
