We are seeking a skilled and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth flow of operations in the dental office.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome patients in a warm and skilled manner
Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar
Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns
Verify insurance coverage and assist with insurance claims processing
Maintain patient records and update electronic medical records (Tracker)
Assist with billing and financial transactions
Coordinate referrals to specialists when necessary
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Perform general administrative tasks to support the dental office
-Accounts receivable
Requirements:
Previous experience working in a dental office setting is required
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus
Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems (tracker)
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes
Proficient in basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
High school diploma or equivalent
