Contribute to the health and well-being of the Eskasoni First Nation as a Community-Focused Occupational Therapist. Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to assess and treat clients in various community settings. This full time role at Eskasoni Health Centre involves engaging with clients at different life stages, providing essential therapeutic services in settings like Eskasoni School and Kiknu Long Term Care.

You’ll play a crucial role in developing treatment plans based on individual assessments and ensure safety through adherence to best practices, addressing both mental and physical health needs. Key Responsibilities:

- Assess clients through diverse testing methodologies
- Develop tailored treatment strategies and monitor progress




- Provide support for clients in long-term care settings
- Create adaptive solutions for functional challenges
- Maintain comprehensive treatment and progress documentation

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy
- Valid provincial registration as a therapist
- Current BCLS certification
- Experience with First Nation communities
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
