Join the Strategic Priorities Office as a Planning Assistant at the Squamish Nation, where you'll aid in the development of projects that enhance community strength and infrastructure. In this role, you will play an integral part in supporting project planning and execution within the Squamish Nation. Collaborating with teams focused on transformative initiatives, you'll manage project logistics, assist in community engagement, and maintain essential project documentation.
Your efforts will directly contribute to the realization of strategic priorities that align with the Nation’s vision. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project meetings and documentation management
- Develop detailed project scopes with team collaboration
- Supervise project tracking systems and reporting tools
- Engage with stakeholders and respond to inquiries
- Process contracts and support procurement activities Requirements:
- Diploma in Planning or related discipline
- Experience in project management or planning settings
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills required
- Solid written and verbal communication abilities
