Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and presentation standards are met
Develop recent recipes and menu items that reflect current food trends and customer preferences
Handle food with care, adhering strictly to food safety and hygiene regulations
Assist in food plating and presentation to create visually appealing dishes that enhance guest satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
Support food service staff by providing timely and accurate meal preparation to meet customer demands
Experience
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a chef within a restaurant or food service environment
Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety standards in the food industry
Hands-on experience with meal preparation, kitchen equipment, and cooking techniques
Knowledge of restaurant operations and the importance of teamwork in delivering excellent service
Previous roles involving food safety compliance and maintaining high hygiene standards are highly valued
Solid understanding of various cuisines and ability to innovate within culinary boundaries
