We are a consumer goods retailer based in St.Catharines who is looking to hire a D licenced 26’ Straight Truck Driver/Warehouse Labourer.

As a D licensed 26’ Straight Truck Driver/Warehouse Labourer, your role involves several significant responsibilities:
Truck Driving:
You will operate a vehicle for the transportation and delivery of goods. This includes ensuring secure driving practices, following traffic laws, and maintaining the vehicle’s condition.
Your primary duty is to transport goods efficiently and securely to their destinations.
You will be the backup driver and will start off on the road one day a week. We expect the driving days to increase as we grow and get busier.
Warehouse Duties:
As part of your regular warehouse duties, you will be involved in various tasks:
Loading and Unloading: Managing the movement of goods onto and off the truck.
Quality Assurance Inspections: Ensuring that products meet quality standards before delivery.




Assembling Products: Must be capable of assembling an assortment of furniture, barbecues, bicycles and more as needed.
Using Tools: You will work with tools such as pallet jacks, computers, and e-log tablets.
Work Schedule:
Your general work week consists of 40 hours.
On Mondays (or every second Monday), your day starts early at 3:30 am.
From Tuesday to Friday, your work hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm or 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Due to location, you must have your own transportation.

Compensation:
You will receive a competitive pay rate of $25.00 per hour and a 5% raise after 3 months.
Employees receive an annual bonus.

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Experience:
Commercial driving: 1 year (required)
Warehouse: 1 year (required)
