Duties
Perform acupuncture treatments using sterile techniques to target specific pain points and promote natural healing processes
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to develop tailored treatment plans
Utilize advanced knowledge of physiology and anatomy to identify areas requiring intervention for effective pain management
Apply trigger point therapy techniques to relieve muscle tension and reduce acute pain symptoms
Educate patients on post-treatment care, lifestyle adjustments, and preventive health strategies
Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient progress,
and clinical observations in compliance with healthcare regulations
Ensure a protected treatment environment by adhering to aseptic techniques and maintaining proper hygiene standards
Qualifications
Valid certification in acupuncture from a recognized qualified board or organization
CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Certification and BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required for emergency preparedness
Demonstrated experience in acute pain management and trigger point therapy preferred
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and human anatomy essential for effective patient assessment
Proven ability to perform physical examinations and utilize diagnostic skills in treatment planning
Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to care delivery
Knowledge of aseptic techniques to ensure secure practice standards in all procedures
