Loghouse Pub is looking for an experienced and motivated Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team. We’re seeking someone who is passionate about great food, takes pride in running an organized and efficient kitchen, and knows how to lead a team in a busy pub workplace.

This is a hands-on leadership position with responsibility for the overall operation of the kitchen, including food quality, consistency, staffing, inventory, food costs, cleanliness, and day-to-day kitchen operations.

Responsibilities
Lead, train, schedule and manage the kitchen team
Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation and consistency
Oversee food preparation and service during busy periods
Manage ordering, inventory and supplier relationships
Monitor food and labour costs and minimize waste
Maintain proper food safety, sanitation and kitchen cleanliness standards
Assist with menu development, features and seasonal offerings
Ensure recipes, portions and plating standards are consistently followed
Recruit,



train and develop kitchen employees
Work closely with the management team to ensure smooth overall restaurant operations

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate has previous experience as an Executive Chef, Head Chef or senior kitchen leader in a high-volume restaurant or pub. You should be comfortable managing both people and numbers and be willing to work alongside your team when needed.

Strong leadership, organization, communication and cost-control skills are essential. Food Safe certification and the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required are also expected.

Salary: $65,000 per year + tips
