Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and food preparation, with a keen interest in coffee and beverage crafting. As a Barista, you will create an inviting atmosphere for our customers while delivering high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain a clean workspace will be essential to your success in this role.

Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
Operate the cash register, including handling cash transactions and utilizing the POS system (Micros POS experience is a plus).
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring all items meet quality standards before serving to customers.
Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; communicate needs to management as necessary.




Uphold health and safety regulations by following proper food handling procedures at all times.

Qualifications
Previous barista experience or experience in the food industry is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
Excellent time management skills to handle peak hours efficiently while maintaining quality service.
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
Familiarity with cashiering duties and operating POS systems (Micros POS experience is advantageous).
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
