We are looking for a Journeyman Electrician to join the Maintenance team at an industrial manufacturing facility in Edmonton.
Employment Type: Temporary, approximately 1–2 months
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Shift: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Pay: $45.88/hour
Department: Maintenance
Responsibilities
Maintain and repair plant electrical systems
Install current equipment as required
Troubleshoot electrical issues
Assist millwrights with mechanical work when needed
Follow company safety procedures and HACCP requirements
Maintain a protected and organized work environment
Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned
Qualifications
Valid Provincial Journeyman Electrician Certificate or recognized interprovincial equivalent
Valid Technical Qualification (TQ) trades ticket
Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical,
and refrigeration systems
Comfortable using hand and power tools
Industrial or commercial construction experience is an asset
Good English communication skills
Working Conditions
Industrial plant environment
Exposure to machinery, noise, humidity, fumes, and temperature changes
Requires regular standing, walking, lifting, and handling of equipment
Robust attention to safety required

Pay: From $45.88 per hour
