As the Sous Chef your expectations/duties would be

-Assisting the Chef in running the kitchen

-Leading the kitchen in the Chefs absence

-Provide guidance and training to junior staff members in all aspects of the kitchen

-Assist in maintaining/improving the food/labor cost

-Manage food ordering in chefs absence to insure proper inventory

-Assist the Head chef in both seasonal menus as well as (special event menus, holidays and Daily features)

-Be able to handle a high pace kitchen

-Assists chef in hiring of staff





-Maintain the cleanliness and organize of the kitchen

Job Type: Full time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
