Duties
Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Cook menu items with attention to quality, consistency, and timely delivery
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and prevent contamination
Support the kitchen team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks




Ensure all food service activities meet health department standards and restaurant policies

Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant setting
Solid understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
Excellent skills in meal preparation and cooking methods across various cuisines
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of serving protocols and customer service expectations in a food industry environment
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is highly preferred for success in this role
