Duties

- Assist with excavation tasks using equipment such as excavators to prepare sites for construction or landscaping projects
- Perform landscape installation activities including planting, sod laying, and soil preparation
- Maintain and operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various construction and landscaping tasks
- Conduct regular landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, and debris removal to keep outdoor spaces pristine
- Assist with horticultural activities such as planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while adhering to best practices in gardening and horticulture




- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic mechanical repairs to ensure tools and machinery are in top condition

Skills

- Experience operating excavators or similar heavy machinery is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, gardening techniques, and general horticulture principles
- Ability to use hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (drills, saws) confidently and safely
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing basic maintenance tasks
- Prior construction experience that demonstrates familiarity with building sites, safety protocols, and project workflows
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices to ensure high-quality outdoor environments
- Excellent physical stamina with the ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
