Become an integral part of MPP Chandra Pasma's team as a full time Constituency Assistant in Ottawa West-Nepean. Collaborate on outreach, casework, and event organization. In this permanent position, you will assist the Member in addressing constituent needs and enhancing community engagement.

Your duties will encompass organizing events, responding to inquiries, and maintaining a robust online presence. You will also engage with local media and stakeholders, ensuring the MPP's objectives are effectively communicated and represented. Key Responsibilities:

- Organize press conferences, hearings, and community events
- Address constituents' concerns via different communication channels
- Compile research materials to support the MPP's initiatives
- Monitor and engage with local media and social channels
- Assist with outreach and advocacy efforts in the riding

Requirements:

- Knowledge of Canadian public affairs and NDP
- Proficient in English with communication skills
- Solid understanding of social media platforms
- Ability to advocate for community interests
- Experience in NDP organizations preferred
