JOB SUMMARY

We are currently looking for full-time greenhouse workers (Monday-Saturdays) to help grow and harvest produce (tomato, cucumber) in our greenhouses, including:
Planting, winding, pruning, clipping, lowering, de-leafing, and harvesting of greenhouse tomatoes and cucumber.
Performing repetitive tasks in a quick paced setting and at heights.
Cleaning and sanitation of tools, equipment and work area.
Assist with crop pest management related duties.
Follow all food safety, health and safety policies and procedures.
Follow all other labor supervisor and operator directives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
+ 18 years of age.
Legally eligible to work in Canada.
Enough English or Spanish fluency to understand information and instructions through spoken word.




Physically able to lift heavy materials (i.e. average of 13 kg/30 lbs).
Able to stand on feet for extended periods of time.
Have own transportation to work.
Able to work in hot and humid setting during summer months.
Punctual and reliable.
Prior greenhouse working experience considered an asset.
No degree, diploma or certificate required
No experience necessary. Will train workers

HOURS
8–10 hour shift
Day shift only
Monday to Saturday
