Zenshi handcrafed sushi is looking for a friendly, reliable Sushi Bar Team Member to join our in-store sushi counter!

Duties
Prepare fresh sushi rolls, nigiri, and related items daily
Handle all aspects of food preparation, including slicing fish, rolling sushi, and assembling ingredients efficiently and safely
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi bar area in compliance with food safety regulations
Serve customers promptly with friendly, attentive service, answering questions about menu items and ingredients
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure freshness and safety at all times
Assist in restocking supplies and ingredients to keep the sushi bar fully equipped during busy hours
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and uphold our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction

Skills
Previous sushi experience preferred ( not required - will train the right candidate )
Food handler's certification ( or willingness to obtain one )




Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling practices to prevent contamination
Excellent serving skills with a friendly, engaging attitude toward guests
Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a quick-paced environment
Robust attention to detail and cleanliness
Passion for the food industry and a desire to learn more about sushi craftsmanship and presentation

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
