The Meat Clerk is responsible for carrying out the full range of duties of the position in a skilled, responsible, accurate and timely fashion. The Meat Clerk will deliver exceptional customer service, foster customer loyalty, fulfill customer needs and actively contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement.

Reporting to the Meat Manager, your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Bring a positive attitude every day
Packaging meat products
Daily placement of merchandise to make it available to customers
Carrying out stock rotation
Assisting in the preparation of orders
Ensuring that work areas are ready to service customers by cleaning surfaces, equipment, and floors
Following all food safety and sanitation procedures established by the company and other regulatory agencies
Performing any additional duties assigned by the Department Managers

Experience:
You have an impeccable level of cleanliness, attention to detail and organization




You thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt well to shifting priorities
You are highly self-motivated and work well under minimal supervision
You possess strong customer service skills
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
You work well with others in a high-pressure setting
Previous work experience is a plus but not required. If you are willing to learn, we are eager to train you with the skills you need to succeed
You can work on your feet up to 8 hours in a day
You have a valid work authorization (i.e., work permit, student permit, PR) in Canada
