A growing engineering team is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to work on diverse industrial, commercial, and institutional (ICI) projects. This role offers opportunities for qualified growth in a collaborative setting.
Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed electrical designs, drawings, and schematics using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
Design layouts and specifications for lighting, distribution systems, emergency power, fire alarms, wiring, riser diagrams, and panel schedules.
Participate in client and contractor meetings and prepare technical reports and calculations.
Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, LEED, and relevant codes/standards.
Review shop drawings and support project execution.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree an asset).
P.Eng.
designation valid in Ontario required.
5+ years of experience in electrical design for ICI buildings.
Solid knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code, OBC, NBC, and related standards.
Proven experience with HV substations, fire alarms, emergency power, and large electrical systems.
Excellent time management, communication, and teamwork skills.
Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
