Morriston Veterinary Clinic is an independently owned small animal practice offering compassionate care in our community and surrounding areas since 2020.

We are looking to hire a part-time veterinary assistant/receptionist to join our team.

This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with others and willing to assist the veterinary staff with day-to-day tasks, as well as front desk support. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
answering telephones, scheduling appointments, filing, basic housekeeping/laundry
maintaining a clean and welcoming workplace for clients
clean and maintain supplies in exam rooms
assisting in restraining patients while ensuring safety for both animals and staff
prepare surgical packs,



maintain stock of materials within the treatment area.
ensure the cleanliness and organization of treatment areas, kennels, and surgical suite

Experience
Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is preferred
Solid communication skills with an energetic approach to customer service
Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 24.0 per week
