Evolve is looking to add the right person to its corporate development team, based in Montréal or Toronto. Title and compensation will reflect the successful candidate's experience.
The role covers corporate development and investor relations, with responsibilities including market analysis, due diligence on potential opportunities, financial modeling, supporting corporate transactions, and preparing materials for strategic communication and investor relations. Additional duties may involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to support decision-making and business development initiatives.
The successful candidate will work closely with deal teams consisting of professionals at all levels, including the CEO, COO, and CFO, on a variety of acquisitions and investments, and will play a key role in all aspects of developing and executing transactions. This includes financial analysis, value analysis, financial modeling, preparation of presentation materials, company and industry research, due diligence, and preparation of legal documentation.
Investor relations responsibilities will include preparing materials for corporate presentations, shareholder updates, market analysis, peer-comparison studies, and other communications that articulate the Company's strategy, performance, and value proposition to investors.
The role requires quick thinking and versatility in a dynamic and fast-paced setting,
as well as a willingness to support various internal teams by conducting targeted analyses across finance, operations, exploration, and strategy.

Qualifications & ExperienceWe are looking for highly motivated candidates with the following attributes:
- Minimum 3 years of mining industry experience, ideally in royalty and streaming, mining M&A;, investment banking, or equity research
- Fluency in English; French is an asset
- Advanced skills in comparable company analysis, transaction comps, precedent transactions, due diligence, and financing-alternative assessments
- Ability to conduct complex analyses and present findings clearly to senior team members
- Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, business, or accounting with an outstanding academic record
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Positive attitude, fast learner, and comfortable taking on new responsibilities
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Exceptional work ethic and commitment to excellence
- Interest or experience in investor relations, capital markets, or equity research considered a strong asset
