Elevate your expertise as a Spatial Information Officer with the Department of National Defence. This position demands a keen focus on spatial data management and quality assurance in a supportive role.
In this EG-04 level role, you will ensure the integrity of spatial data in DND's Real Property Spatial Data Warehouse while also supporting various stakeholders through training and documentation. Your skills will help sustain DND’s mission in promoting security and stability efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the integrity of spatial data records
• Develop and maintain spatial data user resources
• Provide direct support and mentorship on spatial applications
• Oversee data acquisition and registry management
• Implement spatial technical standards effectively
Requirements:
• Education in geomatics or a relevant field
• Experience in spatial data within AEC
• Proficiency in GIS and CAD applications
• Experience in data quality and asset management
• Understanding of industry-standard geospatial practices
