As a key member of the Major Projects East sector, the BIM Modeler will collaborate with engineers and construction teams to develop and maintain accurate models within Aecon’s Integrated Digital Delivery framework. Your expertise in CAD software will be pivotal in clash detection and optimizing project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for temporary works
• Develop construction methods and site logistics drawings
• Interpret engineering sketches for coordinated CAD deliverables
• Manage project models within the IDD Common Data Workplace
• Maintain documentation and version control for all deliverables
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in CAD/drafting or related field
• At least 2 years of CAD drafting experience in construction
• Robust AutoCAD and Civil 3D proficiency
• Ability to produce permit-ready drawing packages
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
