Empower Indigenous youth at Miskanawah as a Senior Cultural Support Worker in Calgary. Collaborate with teams to foster program development and offer guidance for ongoing youth initiatives. This full time role involves facilitating youth programming at Diamond Willow Youth Lodge while drawing from Indigenous teachings.

You’ll take the lead in creating engaging activities, offering educational resources, and ensuring that team members receive proper mentorship. The position requires effective communication and documentation of all activities. Key Responsibilities:

- Create and facilitate youth-led programs and activities
- Advocate for youth rights and well-being
- Mentor staff while addressing challenges collaboratively
- Ensure timely documentation of program details
- Report incidents as per organizational policies

Requirements:

- Proven experience in youth program facilitation
- Familiarity with Indigenous cultural practices
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends
- Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
- Valid driver's license with insurance coverage
