In this full time role, you will engage in wellness check-ins, assist with health and social service access, and coordinate meaningful activities. Your strong relationship-building skills will foster trust and safety. Key Responsibilities:
- Build trusting relationships with local Elders
- Conduct community outreach and home visits
- Assist with accessing cultural and health resources
- Plan and support Elder wellness activities
- Work collaboratively with local service providers
Requirements:
- Diploma in Human Services or related fields preferred
- Experience working with Indigenous communities
- Excellent communication and organizing skills
- Understanding of local culture and traditions
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and background checks
