Become an Indigenous Family Wellness Support Worker with Newo Yotina Friendship Centre in Regina. Deliver trauma-informed support for Two-Spirit, trans, and gender-diverse individuals facing violence. This full time role is focused on providing critical support to Indigenous families affected by gender-based and intimate partner violence.

You will emphasize safety planning, advocacy, and connection to essential healing resources. Your contributions help foster a community grounded in dignity, choice, and self-determination. Key Responsibilities:

- Offer trauma-informed, culturally safe support to clients
- Assist with crisis response and safety planning
- Facilitate workshops and educational programming
- Guide clients through navigating legal and social systems
- Promote healthy relationships with a focus on accountability

Requirements:

- Some post-secondary education completed
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience
- Familiarity with Indigenous healing practices
- Strong advocacy and communication skills
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality and autonomy
