Job Summary The casual on-call custodian position is to cover absences for vacations, sick time, etc. This position will require someone versatile to be available on short notice.

Responsibilities:

- Cleaning and sanitation of buildings, including floors, walls, washrooms, windows, etc. Ensure all refuse is removed, transported, and disposed of.
- Operate and use all custodial tools, equipment, and cleaning products in a protected and efficient manner.
- Follow and operate within safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure sufficient cleaning supplies and materials are available.
- Ensure paper towel, toilet paper, soap, and hand sanitizer dispensers are filled.




- Other reasonable and related duties as required.

Qualifications, Education and Experience:

- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Clean Criminal Record check.
- Safety oriented.
- WHIMIS.
- Must be willing to take WHIMIS, and other training as required.
- Lifting and/or moving boxes, furniture, and equipment up to 30 pounds.
