Calhoun Super Structures is seeking a Design Technician for their Goderich Manufacturing Plant. This in-person role focuses on producing detailed technical drawings and models while collaborating with engineers and project managers.

In this vital role, you will create engineering designs and drawings, interpret specifications, and generate shop drawings. Solid technical skills and exceptional attention to detail will be critical in this quick-paced workplace, ensuring designs meet quality standards and customer demands.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare engineering designs and detailed drawings
• Interpret blueprints and client requirements accurately
• Generate shop and fabrication drawings, including BOMs




• Review and revise designs per feedback or changes
• Collaborate with teams to optimize manufacturability

Requirements:
• Diploma in Engineering Technician or related field
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills with various departments
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
• Experience in manufacturing, especially steel welding
