In this role, you will be responsible for implementing policies and guiding the Personal Support Workers under your direction. Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Registered Nurse on unit protocols
• Provide direction to Personal Support Workers daily
• Liaise with physicians regarding resident changes
• Attend shift reports for effective communication
• Assist with revisions of procedures in the residence
Requirements:
• Valid Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• In-depth knowledge of long-term care legislation
• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitation nursing
• Current membership in valuable standing with nursing college
• Ability to foster meaningful resident connections
