West Coast Reduction Ltd. is hiring a Stock Room Inventory Management Specialist for our Vancouver location. This full time, in-office role focuses on inventory systems and purchasing processes.
As a Stock Room Purchaser at West Coast Reduction, you will play an essential role in maintaining accurate inventory levels at the plant. You'll manage purchase requisitions, verify data accuracy, and ensure effective communication between vendors and our team. Emphasis will be on achieving high standards in inventory management and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and process purchase orders for inventory needs • Ensure the accuracy of inventory records through verification • Notify the Purchasing Agent of critical stock shortages • Facilitate vendor and user communication for efficient service • Maintain the storeroom orderly while issuing inventory items
Requirements: • Class 5 Driver’s Licence with clean record required • 2-3 years of purchasing or inventory experience • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office software • Excellent English communication skills required • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs without assistance
