As the first member of our Security Operations Centre team, you will partner with stakeholders to handle threats across various environments. Reporting to the Vice President of Information Technology, your role involves writing detection rules, leading complex investigations, and integrating AI tooling into security practices. Your guidance will shape investigation standards as we build our SOC team from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise investigations of cybersecurity incidents
• Create and manage automated detection content
• Conduct hypothesis-driven threat hunts




• Maintain detailed documentation of attacks and response
• Partner with teams to align priorities with risk
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and financial services is a plus
• Proficiency in Python and security scripting
• Relevant security certifications highly valued
