Uppercuts Barbershop Ltd. is an established and growing barbershop brand known for exceptional service and a welcoming, energetic atmosphere.

We are currently hiring Customer Service & Social Media Representatives for our Maple Ridge and Walnut Grove (Langley) locations.

We are looking for friendly, outgoing and proactive individuals who enjoy working with people, sales and social media.

The Position

This is more than a traditional receptionist position.

You will play an important role in the overall customer experience while supporting our barbers, assisting with retail sales, creating social media content and helping keep the shop organized and running smoothly.

Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Responsibilities

Customer Service & Reception

- Greet clients and provide a friendly, welcoming experience
- Assist walk-in clients and booked appointments
- Answer incoming calls and customer questions
- Manage appointment scheduling
- Communicate with barbers to maintain smooth client flow
- Handle customer concerns professionally
- Assist families and children visiting the shop
- Help ensure every customer receives excellent service

Sales & Commission Opportunities

- Recommend hair care, styling and grooming products
- Educate customers about available products and services
- Help increase retail sales through genuine product recommendations
- Assist with promotions and special offers
- Keep retail displays stocked,



clean and organized
- Earn additional commission on qualifying sales

Social Media & Content Creation

- Create content for Instagram and TikTok
- Take photos and videos of haircuts, transformations and the shop
- Create Instagram Stories, Reels and TikTok videos
- Post content regularly
- Showcase our barbers, services, products and atmosphere
- Look for opportunities throughout the day to capture engaging content
- Stay aware of current social media trends and content ideas

Shop Organization & Cleanliness

- Maintain a clean and organized reception and waiting area
- Keep bathrooms clean and presentable
- Wash, fold and organize towels
- Organize products and shop supplies
- Keep the customer fridge stocked and organized
- Ensure music and TVs are on
- Put away signs, promotional materials and balloons when required
- Help barbers and customers whenever needed
- Proactively identify what needs attention without always waiting to be asked

Previous experience in customer service, reception, hospitality, retail, sales or social media is an asset but not required. We are willing to train the right person with a great attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
