Hiring: Data Architect

We are looking for an experienced Data / Analytics Architect to lead the architecture and delivery of scalable analytics solutions using Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead architecture, design and implementation of advanced analytics solutions using Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric
- Design and optimize data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Databricks, PySpark and Azure Data Factory
- Work with Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Delta Lake and on-premises systems
- Develop and optimize Databricks notebooks, Databricks SQL, Delta Tables, Auto Loader and Delta Live Tables
- Lead Microsoft Fabric solutions including pipelines, notebooks, semantic models and real-time intelligence
- Integrate Databricks with Synapse, ADLS Gen2 and Power BI for end-to-end analytics solutions
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineering teams
- Ensure architecture, data flows, security, governance and technical documentation meet enterprise standards
- Promote best practices around scalability, performance, code quality and maintainability
- Support multiple projects and collaborate with stakeholders across different time zones

Required Skills:

- 10–15 years of experience in data engineering / architecture
- Mandatory French-speaking capability




- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks
- Strong expertise in Spark, PySpark, Hadoop and SQL
- Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse and Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2
- Strong knowledge of Delta Lake and Delta Tables
- Experience with Databricks SQL, Auto Loader and Delta Live Tables
- Solid ETL/ELT, data warehousing and data lake experience
- Power BI, SSRS and SSAS experience
- Experience with P-SKU to F-SKU migration
- Experience with CI/CD and Git
- Knowledge of cloud security and governance best practices
- Strong communication, problem-solving and leadership skills

- Azure Resource Manager / Infrastructure as Code
- NoSQL databases
- Advanced Power BI reporting and dashboard development
- Additional Requirements:
- Ability to support approximately 10–12 projects in parallel
- Flexibility to work across time zones based on customer requirements
- Willingness to provide weekend support during migrations when required
