We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Ab Initio Metadata Hub development, data lineage, metadata management, reference data development, data analytics, relational databases, and programming . The successful candidate will work on data warehousing and ETL processes while contributing to application development and SDK development activities.

Key Requirements

- At least 4+ years of application Ab Initio Metadata Hub development experience.
- Strong understanding of Data Lineage, metadata management, reference data development, and data analytics.
- Good knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Strong knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
- Data lineage.
- Application development.
- Python or Java coding experience.
- Hands-on experience with any coding language and tool-based configuration and prior experience in this area.
- Experience with the full Software Development Kit (SDK) development cycle.
- Pragmatic problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Ab Initio Hub or Python programming languages.
- Proficiency with one or more of the following programming languages/technologies:

- Java

- API

- Python
- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.

Technical Skills Ab Initio & Metadata Management
- 4+ years of application Ab Initio Metadata Hub development experience.
- Strong understanding of data lineage.
- Experience with metadata management.
- Experience with reference data development.
- Knowledge of Ab Initio Hub.





Database & Data Engineering
- Strong knowledge of relational databases.
- Experience with Oracle.
- Strong knowledge of SQL / PL/SQL.
- Understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of data analytics.

Programming & Application Development
- Proficiency in Python or Ab Initio Hub.
- Proficiency with one or more of:

- Java

- API

- Python
- Application development experience.
- Hands-on experience with coding languages and tool-based configuration.
- Full SDK development cycle experience.

Professional Skills
- Pragmatic problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong technical and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to contribute to data engineering, application development, data warehousing, and ETL-related initiatives.

Work Arrangement Onsite – Mississauga, Ontario, Canada This is a full-time onsite Data Engineer position with Citi based in Mississauga, ON, Canada.

The role involves working with data warehousing and ETL processes , providing an opportunity to further develop technical skills and contribute to projects involving metadata, data lineage, application development, databases, and analytics.
