Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and secure delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of safety on the road.

Responsibilities

- Operate delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring that items are secured for transport.
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns during deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel usage.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.




- Utilize forklifts or other equipment for loading/unloading as required (if certified).

Requirements

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the day.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers and team members.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and safety checks is beneficial.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including potential overtime as needed.
