Position Summary The Delivery Driver & Support Associate is responsible for the safe, timely delivery of food products to customers while maintaining product quality and excellent customer service. This role primarily involves route driving, with additional responsibilities supporting order packing, inventory handling, and general operational tasks within the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Route Operations (Primary – 80%)
- Safely operate company delivery vehicles on scheduled routes.
- Load, transport, and deliver frozen food products while maintaining proper temperature control.
- Verify orders prior to departure and upon delivery.
- Provide professional, courteous customer service at delivery locations.
- Obtain required signatures and maintain accurate delivery documentation.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
- One out of town round trip delivery per week ( North Bay, GTA )
Warehouse & Operational Support (~20%)
- Assist with picking and packing frozen food orders.
- Help stage deliveries and organize route loads.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of freezer, warehouse, and loading areas.
- Support inventory counts and stock rotation (FIFO).
- Assist with general operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Ability to safely operate delivery vehicles (box truck experience preferred).
- Ability to work in cold storage/freezer environments.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50+ lbs regularly.
- Robust attention to detail and reliability.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
