Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Dental Assistant Level II with HARP (Hearing and Access to Resources Program) Certification to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the delivery of comprehensive dental services, assist with patient care, and ensure smooth clinic operations. Your expertise will help create a positive experience for every patient while maintaining high standards of clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including orthodontics and pediatrics, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools when necessary
- Manage patient records using dental practice management software such as Dentrix and Epic, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Provide excellent customer service as a dental receptionist, scheduling appointments and answering patient inquiries




- Support with medical terminology explanations to patients and team members for clear communication
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and ensure all equipment is functioning properly
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions

Requirements
- Valid Dental Assistant Level II certification with HARP Certificate
- Proficiency in dental practice management software including Dentrix and Epic
- Experience with orthodontics procedures and pediatric dentistry is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care
- Ability to operate CAD systems for designing or planning dental treatments
- Strong communication skills suitable for a busy clinical setting
- Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in customer service within healthcare settings is a plus
