Duties

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including exams, cleanings, fillings, and surgical treatments.

Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.

Take dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring patient safety and adherence to safety protocols.

Provide excellent patient support by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring patient comfort throughout visits.





Maintain accurate dental records using practice management software such as Dentrix.

Skills

Proficiency in dental assisting techniques with knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.

Experience with dental practice management software such as Dentrix is highly desirable.

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.

Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics.

Ability to perform radiographic procedures safely and accurately while following safety standards.

Alternate Saturdays and one evening/week required.
