Full-Time Dental Hygienist

Community Dental Center is looking for a friendly, dependable, and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our team in a full time position.

Our ideal candidate is a skilled and compassionate professional who takes pride in providing excellent patient care. You will work alongside our dentists, dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative team in a supportive and collaborative practice.

Responsibilities

- Provide thorough dental hygiene care and patient assessments
- Perform scaling, polishing, periodontal therapy, and preventive treatments
- Take dental radiographs when required
- Educate patients about oral health and preventive care
- Accurately document treatment and patient information
- Follow infection prevention and control requirements
- Work collaboratively with dentists and other members of the dental team
- Help create a comfortable and positive experience for every patient

Qualifications

- Diploma in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Registered and in good standing with the appropriate Nova Scotia regulatory body
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication, organization,



and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to qualified, ethical, and compassionate patient care
- Previous dental hygiene experience is an asset; however, new graduates are welcome to apply
