True Mechanical is looking for a detail-oriented Construction Designer to join our innovative VDC team. Use your AutoCAD skills to produce high-quality mechanical system designs. This role at True Mechanical involves developing 2D design layouts for plumbing and HVAC systems.
You will closely collaborate with different teams, ensuring your designs are not only accurate but also feasible for on-site installation. Ideal candidates have a passion for technical problem-solving and a solid understanding of mechanical construction principles. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop 2D mechanical and plumbing drawings with AutoCAD
- Analyze and interpret construction specifications
- Coordinate designs for integration with other disciplines
- Apply relevant codes and standards in design work
- Manage RFIs and incorporate design revisions
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of mechanical design experience
- Competence in AutoCAD and solid knowledge of Bluebeam Revu
- Experience with plumbing and HVAC frameworks
- Solid detail orientation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent collaboration with teams and stakeholders
