Automotive Detailer

Nanaimo Honda is looking for a dependable, quality-focused Automotive Detailer to join our team.

In this role, you will help ensure that new, pre-owned, and customer vehicles are professionally prepared and presented. The successful candidate will take pride in their work, pay close attention to detail, and contribute positively to a busy team environment.

Compensation: $21.50–$29.00 per hour, depending on experience

Employment type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

Clean and detail vehicle interiors, including carpets, upholstery, dashboards, consoles, door panels, windows, and storage compartments.

Wash and prepare vehicle exteriors, including wheels, tires, wheel wells, body panels, grilles, and bumpers.

Prepare new and pre-owned vehicles for customer delivery.

Complete customer vehicle-detailing packages to dealership quality standards.

Identify and report vehicle damage or areas requiring additional attention.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Properly use and care for detailing products, tools, and equipment.

Assist with other duties as assigned by the Detail Manager.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s licence and an acceptable driver’s abstract.

Ability to drive automatic-transmission vehicles; experience driving manual transmissions is an asset.





Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.

Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Able to manage multiple vehicles and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Previous automotive-detailing experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.
