Clarington Honda is looking for a full-time Professional Auto Service Detailer. In this role, you will be responsible for the complete maintenance needs of our clients’ vehicles. As a part of our fast-paced service department, your ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines will allow you to succeed in this position. An Auto Detailer is responsible for restoring vehicle exterior and interior appearance to high standards of cleanliness and finish. This includes cleaning, washing, vacuuming, polishing, waxing and inspecting New, Pre-owned or Customer-owned vehicles. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail and proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Qualifications:

- 1 to 3 years of detailing experience required
- Desire to treat each vehicle with great care and respect
- Strong attention to detail is a must
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended time periods, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, etc.
- Enthusiastic approach to learning
- Ability to work as part of a team

· Candidate must have a clean driving record and possess a valid Canadian driver's license.

Core Responsiblities:

Interior Cleaning: Vacuum carpets, seats and trunk spaces; steam clean or extract upholstered surfaces and leather; scrub vinyl,



trim and dashboard components; clean interior glass streak-free.

Exterior Restoration: Wash and dry vehicles using protected hand and power methods; apply clay bar treatments to remove embedded contaminants; polish and wash exterior paint to restore shine; clean wheels, tire wells and trim; dress tires and exterior rubber.

Paint Correction and Protection (Intermediate/Advanced): Operate rotary/dual-action buffers to remove swirl marks, scratches and oxidation; apply ceramic coatings or paint sealants when required.

Engine Bay Detailing: Degrease, rinse and detail engine bays safely without damaging sensitive electrical components.

Quality Assurance & Safety: Inspect completed vehicles to ensure all specifications and dealership/ shop standards are met; operate power equipment (pressure washers, carpet extractors, buffers) safely; adhere to OSHA and safety guidelines for chemical handling (SDS).
