The Direct Support Professional is responsible for supporting people to live in a state of dignity, share in all elements of living in the community and have the chance to participate effectively. These supports shall be provided in a manner that promotes the care, welfare, safety, and security of the people being supported.

The Direct Support Professional will represent the Agency in a manner that conveys the beliefs of the organization, and promotes the concept of inclusive communities.

Qualifications A minimum of a high school diploma is required and preference shall be given to applicants who have a D.S.W. diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience. Knowledge of health care procedures, and personal support skills is an asset. Valid CPR/First Aid and a current vulnerable sector check are required. Fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
