The Office of Inspector General is seeking an Inspector General to develop its vision and operations within Minnesota's recent oversight agency. The role requires ten or more years of experience in auditing, investigations, and program integrity, alongside a strong commitment to public service integrity and ethical standards. You will foster a culture of accountability while ensuring statewide adherence to investigative practices and reporting protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee investigations and audits across state programs • Ensure compliance with statutory guidelines and professional standards • Develop relationships with law enforcement and governmental entities • Establish cohesive reporting protocols and standards • Advocate for public interest through transparent operations
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or related field • 10+ years in auditing or related disciplines • Professional certification from the Association of Inspectors General • Executive leadership experience in high-risk programs • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
