As a Physiotherapist, you will work under the Health Services Manager, performing comprehensive assessments to diagnose conditions and develop holistic treatment plans. You'll utilize a range of therapeutic techniques and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to enhance patient care and promote health effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patient conditions through detailed medical histories
• Develop tailored treatment programs using various techniques
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals on patient management
• Supervise physiotherapy students and assistants
• Communicate health promotion strategies to patients and caregivers
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy
• Provincial licensing from Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapy
• Current BCLS certification for CPR
• WHMIS training certification
• Reliable transportation for community visits
