Join Surrey Place as a Behaviour Support Worker in Toronto, ON, focusing on the Treatment Research and Education for Autism program. Aiming to provide specialized ABA treatment, you'll work with youth facing significant challenges.
This full-time position is integral to Surrey Place's TRE-ADD program, where you will work with children in ECPP classrooms. You'll provide vital behavioural support, focusing on helping clients improve their communication and daily living skills. Team-oriented work with clinical supervisors will guide treatment strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support intensive ABA therapy and assessment
• Enhance clients' classroom participation and socialization
• Systematically collect and analyze therapy data




• Ensure compliance with documentation and reporting
• Assist with various short-term needs in ECPP classrooms
Requirements:
• Diploma or Certificate in Behaviour Science or equivalent
• Prior experience with severe behaviors in youth
• Understanding of applied behavior analysis techniques
• Valid Vulnerable Sector Screening needed
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs
