International Quest Engineering Ltd. (IQE) has an opportunity for a Drafter/Designer with drafting/modeling abilities to join our team. In this role, you will be involved in the design and drafting of structural and mechanical systems for heavy industrial projects for the wood-products, mining and energy sectors, among others.

This is a growth-oriented position providing the opportunity to play an integral role in a wide range of projects. Work will generally be from the office but occasional site work may be required. Projects include new greenfield designs as well as brownfield work.

In this role, the individual will be involved in design and drafting for projects involving concrete, steel and wood structural design, as well as mechanical systems such as conveyors, material handling systems, equipment and piping. Additional duties may include liaising with internal engineering and drafting personnel, drawing checks and field measurements. The preferred candidate will have a technology diploma with 2+ years of work experience.

Qualifications:

· 2-year technology diploma or equivalent

· 2+ years drafting/design experience

· Proficient in AutoCAD





· SolidWorks or Advance Steel experience would be an asset

· Revit proficiency would be a robust asset
