Keys Skills:

- Must have at least 3 years of experience in the mechanical field.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

- Reporting to the engineering and design department.
- Provide estimation / design support for field operations.
- Analyze and interpret drawings from blueprints, & PDF files.
- Responsible for contacting customers regarding potential new projects and actively managing the relationship with existing customers.
- Reviewing various project tender sites daily for new project opportunities.
- Make sales calls, meet with clients and introduce the company to potential customers.
- Attend pre-tender site meetings.
- Receive requests for quotations and their associated mechanical drawings.




- Detailed review of scope of work, drawings and specifications, and all associated documentation.
- Perform quantity take-off, addenda reviews from the provided construction drawings.
- Contact suppliers and sub-contractors for quotations as required. (With Purchasing Manager)
- Meet with all in house departments to discuss the particulars of each project to help establish a realistic schedule and construction budget.
- Obtain pricing for various items & equipment (With Purchasing Manager).
- Provide and maintain unit pricing for misc. items and database for material and labour costing.
- Apply for bonding as needed.
- Record time to the project and assist in cost tracking.
- Keep up with new technologies and make recommendations on any innovations that could assist in this role.
- Compile all line items together and submit your quotation to the customer.
- Follow up on quotations submitted.
- Once the project has been awarded, actively communicate with Dispatch and the Project Manager to track the status of the project.
- Upon project award work with admin to prepare information for the job binder including all necessary documents, & drawings.




- Upon award ensure all required documentation such as bonds, safety information, material submittals / substitutions, RFI’s and insurance are submitted to the client.
- Upon completion of the project put together O&M; documentation.
- Work with the Project Manager estimating extras, change orders, and back charges.

- Project coordination and planning.
- Assist with design / w applicable.
- Drafting (AutoCAD / Revit).
- Excellent Relationship building skills.
- Exceptional Communication and People skills.
- Manage customers and get successfully added to the Vendor of Record list.
- Review tender sites keyword list and check for opportunities not found in the email summaries.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients.
- Attention to detail to ensure precision in estimates and technical documentation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $55,000.00-$62,500.00 per year
